Speaker Boot-Camp
7 High powered one hour lessons
Over ninety percent of speaking courses are built upon the false assumption that emotional motivation is key…this is hold over from the flawed thinking of B.F. Skinners Behaviorism theory. Skinner believed that humans were motivated only by external stimuli. His theories have been proven false for over forty years but people still accept the myth as true.
What is the truth?
Human beings are rational and SELF-motivated. While you can excite people temporarily with fiery rhetoric the effect only lasts for a few days at best and they return to their old ways and habits. This is why “motivational speakers” sell tapes, CD, books, DVD’s, etc for you to listen to everyday — because the effect wears off. It is pure emotion.
What is to be done?
People want to learn, they want tools to use, they enjoy being able to control their lives and their work–what people want is knowledge. People enjoy clear and effective information they can use over hours of emotional hoopla.
When you learn how to convey real ideas using the methods of Aristotle, Plato, Cicero, Quintilian, and the other great thinkers your audience will be moved not only emotionally but cognitively as well–this is the key to truly effective motivation.
When you teach people, in a way they can understand and accept, you will change lives. You will put people in control of their world, their behavior, you will empower them to do their best. Motivation will naturally follow from a feeling of competence. In fact, that is exactly how you will be taught how to speak and communicate. Because you will correctly understand the principles of oratory, logic, arrangement of a speech, delivery, use of invention and humor, methods for memorization for yourself and your audience.

Learn the Science of Speech!
.
Ancient Greek Rhetoric for modern communications. The method is 2000 years old and effective. Built upon the solid foundations of Greek rhetoric and improved with the latest psychological research of ethical persuasion.
…
.There are, then, these three means of effecting persuasion. The man who is to be in command of them must, it is clear, be able to reason logically, to understand human character and goodness in their various forms, and to understand the emotions-that is, to name them and describe them, to know their causes and the way in which they are excited.– Aristotle
Aristotelian Rhetoric was perfected by the ancient Greeks from the teaching of Aristotle. He taught that the use of logic was superior to Roman rhetoric which utilizes emotions and style, yet lacks content. Aristotelian rhetoric was unknown in the west recently. Now you can receive advanced training in Aristotelian rhetoric. The effect of this style of speaking is extremely powerful and superior to all other styles. You will have the confidence of knowing what you are doing rather than hoping.
Eliminate Fear of Public Speaking

Confidence always displaces fear. You do not need any “tricks” or “sure fire methods” to eliminate fear of speaking, any more than you need a trick to eliminate fear of driving or swimming. Those fears were eliminated by becoming confident that you could control the situation correctly.
Thats how you go from a good speaker to a great speaker, learning how to control your speech. Learning how to react to the audience and adjust.
That is what we teach.
